Our products are either crafted out of 'green oak' or 'seasoned oak'. 'Green oak' will naturally change its appearance over time and develop natural splits and knots that enhance the rustic appearance of the furniture. Look out for these symbols against the product description:
We recommend that the products are periodically re-waxed. This will maintain the colour of the stain and protect the wood from damage. We are happy to provide wax polish for the 'Natural', 'Medium' and 'Dark Oak' finishes, or oil for the 'Oiled' finish, which will be an exact match to the original supplied colour.
