Dispatch Policy
All our products are made to order, unless otherwise indicated. Delivery will normally be within 28 days unless otherwise indicated by one of our delivery time symbols:

Any delays will be communicated to the customer. In all cases of home delivery, we will contact you to arrange a delivery date. Delivery charges are quoted for working days only and not weekends or Bank Holiday's. Saturday deliveries are possible for an additional delivery charge, please contact us for details. Abortive attempts at delivery when we have given a delivery date, and when the haulage contractor has surcharged us, will be invoiced and charged for in full.

Unfortunately we do not usually ship any of our products outside of mainland England, Scotland or Wales. All delivery prices are quoted to these countries only. However, special arrangements can be made depending on the product(s) being ordered. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

As a general guideline we usually advise that our items will need a second person for lifting as they can be heavy or bulky.


Product Finishes and Colours
The colour of the wax and oil finishes of our products may vary from that shown on this website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.

Our products are either manufactured out of 'Seasoned Oak' or 'Green Oak'. 'Green Oak' refers to products that are manufactured out of partially unseasoned timber. Over a period of years the oak will develop splits, cracks and checking as it seasons, adding to its naturally beauty, character and uniqueness. We do not accept any returns based on the natural character or appearance of the wood from seasoning. We recommend that unseasoned products are not placed directly on rugs or carpets as they release moisture over time and there is a risk of staining.


Cancellation and Returns
Cancellation can be made up to the point of partial or full payment.

You are required to check the goods, at the time of delivery, for any damage or shortages and note down any problems on the delivery receipt. If the item is badly damaged, refuse the item and contact us immediately. Defective goods found after this time must be notified to Rustic Oak within 24 hours of delivery. Goods must be returned in their original packaging. In the event of a damaged item, the product will either be replaced or the value of defective goods will be reimbursed to the customer only on receipt to us, and confirmation of defects.


Liability
You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your shopping account and/or your Personal Information. 

We reserve the right to: modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.

We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website. You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising from your use of this website.

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

We will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the 
Conditions for: 
-any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or 
-any loss of goodwill or reputation; or 
-any special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under the Conditions.

The material and content contained within the Website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to make a Purchase) download such material and content for such purpose. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us. Any other use of the material and content of the Website is strictly prohibited. By accessing our website you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

The Rustic Oak Company makes no representation that this site or its contents are appropriate or available for use in any locations outside the United Kingdom. Those who choose to access the site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.


Confidentiality
Customer details are not passed to third parties and are only used in accordance with the Data Protection Act.


Law
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.


Consumer Rights
None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
